In the English National XC at Harewood House, Leeds, the in-form  Freya Gibson was our only Junior Club member represented but produced an excellent run in (u/13 ) 3k  Girls Race finishing 59th out of over 400 finishers in a time of 11.56. The Senior Men Race over 12k had only 4 runners from the Club 2 short of a Team which was somewhat disappointing for this well established and famous Race. However, the Men who ran enjoyed the day with veteran Matt Hornsby (v/35) finishing 213th in a time of 41.40, just holding off teammate Alex Cook who was ahead of him at one stage but suffered stomach cramps but gallantly fought back to finish 228th in 41.51, with Jonny Wilkinson 725th in 47.03, and veteran middle distance runner Jason Catterall (v/45) giving it a go and running well to finish 1366th out of over 2000 runners finishers recording 53.23.

In the  England Athletics Indoor  (u/15, u/17, and u/20) Championships at Sheffield,
Cameron Thomas now in his 1st year (u/20) found it tough in the heats of the 1500m recording 4.11.79, but still managed to qualify for the Final and finished  9th recording a personal best time of 4.08.82.
