The 4th Harrier league meeting of 2018/19, at Aykley Heads, saw a seasons best turnout for the Club by the Senior women and  Senior men with an excellent turnout of 15 and 20 athletes competing on the difficult and testing Aykley Heads course. Dan Jenkin and Dan Garbutt ran to excellent positions through the massive field of runners and recorded the 4th and 9th fastest times respectively and helped the Senior Men's team successfully battle their way to 2nd team on the day and moved them up to 3rd in Division 1. Whilst, an excellent effort from the Senior Women saw them record an overall win on the day in Division 2, which lifts the Team up to 3rd in the standings, a prime position for a promotion push going into the final two fixtures. Meanwhile, there were some outstanding races from the juniors, Charlotte Dillon and Sam Terry, both helping  their under 13 teams to the prime positions of 2nd place.

Team B : 90th Pranav Anand 43:09, 108th Rob Everson 38:11, 167th Derek McGirl 41:41, 208th David Cross 39:28, 232nd Rob Hand 42:31, 291st Rob Garbutt 46:14. Team C:  398th Jordan Rawlins 49:30, 425th Richard Dillon 50:33, 462nd Tony McNeil 52.11, 470th Ken Bradshaw 52:52, 474th Mike Kenyon 52:55, 486th Mike Dann 53:37. Incomplete Team D : 518th Geoff Watson 55:35, 549th Sim Horsfield 60:16 (570 finishers).
The Senior Women buoyed by excellent individual finishes from Hazel Rowland and Joasia Zakrzewski, backed up by Hannah Fishburn and Jessica Williams, finished the day in 1st place,  taking them to 3rd overall,  an excellent performance, results of which were as follows:
Team A : 4th Hazel Rowland 31:53, 13th Joasia Zakrzewski, 30:21, 22nd Hannah Fishburn 33:45, 38th Jessica Williams 34:25, the 4 scorers .Team B 41st Hazel Rowland 31:45, 67th Marta Alba 35:00, 77th Clare Higgins 32:35, 88th Dionne Hamil 35:35 (2nd). Team C: 128th Rachel Terry 33:32, 182nd Catherine Gough 34:35, 186th Lynne Carruthers 37:24, 242nd Christine Woods 38:35. Team D: 269th Sarah Cook 39:29, 309th Liz Lamb 40:45, with 325th (Brian Brown o/70) 42:09 (non scoring) and 369th Rachel Dillon 44:39 (416 finishers).
Durham had only one (u/17) runner with Will Lindsey finishing 25th in 20:18.
Under 15 Boys: Team A : 11th Josh Wraith 12:36 (9th fastest), 20th Peter Cook 13:05, 30th Callum Wilkinson 15:02, and with 3 to count, the Team were 6th, followed by 32nd Thomas Wraith 13:26, and 49th Ben Dowsett 14:20.
The Under 13 categories continue to impress with the Girls and Boys Teams finishing 1st and 2nd respectively on the day, Charlotte Dillon having an outstanding run finishing 3rd in her Race and returning the fastest time of the day, whilst Sam Terry had another fine run in his Race, results of which were as follows:
U/13 Girls: Team A: 3rd Charlotte Dillon 14.17 (fastest time), 8th Freya Gibson 14.48 (4th fastest)  and 11th Hattie Logan 16.34 the 3 scorers and were (1st Team),  Team B: 31st Rachel McKenney 15.54, 52nd Megan Hauxwell 17.04, 58th Meera Young 19.44.
U/13 Boys: Team A: 11th Samuel Terry 13:29 (9th fastest), 17th Noah Glanville 13:42, 18th Will Henderson 13:44, the 3 scorers and were (2nd Team), Team B: 21st Harvey Burford 15:31, 22nd Sam Mason 15:32, 57th Lewis Littlewood 16:56, with 59th Jake Wilks 15:20.
In the U/11 (Fun Run) results were as follows:
(Girls): 11th Grace Carter 5:46, 26th Sophia Young 6:12, 38th Olivia Richardson 6:43, 42nd Holly Emerson 6:47, 50th Eloisa Wilkes 7:16.
(Boys): 44th Dan Askey 6:04, 46th Harry Mason 6:08.
