The third match day of this seasons Harrier League saw both excellent individual and team performances from the Durham City runners at the windy, yet beautiful (and highly tiring) Gosforth Park. Performances of the day, undeniably can be attributed to that of Dan Jenkin and Dan Garbutt , who continue to highlight their strengths as the season reaches its halfway point. Whilst Garbutt finished 4th from medium pack, under the handicap system, Jenkin finished with a 21st place finish from the fast pack in a record field of 623 finishers.
Senior Men results were as follows signifying actual times and positions:
4th Dan Garbutt (6th fastest time)  33:00, 21st Dan Jenkin (3rd fastest  time) 32:44, 39th Graeme Hunt 38:30, 89th John Nash 39:33, 113th Derek McGirl 37:25, 118th Rob Everson 34:58, the 6 counters, were 4th Team, followed by 158th Josh Erlebach 40:30, 176th David Cross 35:43,  265th Jason Catterall 41:50, 266th Rob Hand 39:21, 313th Simon Pickering 42:44, 407th Jordan Rawlins 45:02, (10th team), followed by 504th Tony McNeill 47:51, 551st Kit Erlebach 50:04.
