The weather was attrocious at Hardwick Park for the annual Sedgefield Harriers relay. A good turn out of harriers saw 2 mens teams and an incomplete womens team.
Jonny Baines led the field away opening a fair lead by half way round on the opening 1.7 mile leg. Michael Grimes was 2nd leg for the A team and consolidated the mens position opening the gap further on the pursuing teams of Crook, Marsh House and Sunderland. Jonny Wilkinson took third leg and held a comfortable lead over Marsh House. Chris Wilkinson took the glory leg and led the team home with Marsh House 2nd and Sunderland 3rd. The other harrier positions were not clear but the full results should be on the sedgefield site soon.
