Jonathan Bull (u/23) had an fine run in the Northern Athletics Senior & U/20 Track and Field Championships at Sportcity, Manchester, after qualifying in his heat in the Senior Men’s Race 200m in a personal best time of 22.59, he improved on that in the B Race Final recording a time of 22.48. Jonathan also ran in the 100m recording a time of 11.46 in his Heat but unfortunately did not qualify for the Final in that event.
Scott Armstrong (u/23) also competed in the Senior Men’s 800m , where he ran 1.57.42 in his Heat reached the Final and finished 7th in 1.59.47.
Scott two weeks later competed in the (BMC) British Milers Club, Regional Series 800m at Chester- Le-St and recorded the Club’s fastest time in the A Race recording 1.58.0. Other Harriers who competed were : Tom Rutherford u/20 (Race C) 2.04.5, Cameron Thomas u/20 (Race D) 2.06.2, Peter Cook u/17 (Race E) 2.10.4, Sam Terry u/15 ( Race F) 2.14.4 pb, Naomi Metting Van Rijn S /W (Race G) 2.19.2, Caitlin Carr u/17 ( Race J ) 2.31.5 pb.
