Tia Anderson scored a magnificent victory in the England Athletics (u/15 & u/17) Track & Field Championships down in Bedford, winning a superb Gold Medal in the u/15 Girls 300m Final. Hopes were high after winning her heat in a time of 41.28, then in the Final Tia produced a title winning performance recording a personal best time of 40.35, which ranks her equal 2nd in the current 2017 UK Rankings, an excellent achievement.

Adam Ord also had a superb run in these Championships setting a personal best time in the heats of the u/15 800m of 2.01.01. In the Final he was delighted to win Silver and again improved on his time, which now stands at 2.00.01, which currently ranks him 9th in the current 2017 Rankings. Tyler Thomas also competed in the u/15 100m, running well but missing out on the Final finishing 4th in his heat recording 11.83.


Meanwhile in the Tartan Games at Gateshead more medals were won and some fine performances produced, the results of which were as follows:
