Race information for members 

The North East Counties cross country takes place on 10th December at Aykley Heads. This event is hosted by Derwentside, Elvet Striders and Durham City Harriers. Any queries please contact:  xcountry@durhamcityharriers.org.uk

Course building – The course is being set up on Friday 9th December meeting at 12pm. Any helpers are very welcome.

Marshalling – There are still spaces for marshalls if you can help on the day.

Tents: As the races start early (U11’s 10:35) the tents will be going up early in the day, arriving at 9am. Bob and Brian will need help, so if you are able to turn up to Aykley Heads for 9am please come and help.

Course dismantling – If you are able to stay behind after the last race and take down some of the course please do. The more help makes it easier for all.

U11 entries – IMPORTANT: Can the U11’s parents / guardians please ensure that we have your runners name to register on the day. We must do this by 10:am

Race Parking – is at Durham County Hall car park only. It’s free and only 400m from the start – please do not park anywhere else, please do not try to park closer to the course as you will be charged, or worse, and we could lose this venue! There will be plenty of parking for everybody at County Hall but please car share & obey the car park marshals!
