Jacqui just misses medal

After retaining her W45 400m title at the recent British Masters Indoor Championships, Jacqui Hodgson this month travelled to Ancona in Italy where she faced some younger and faster opposition.

After safely negotiating her heat she just fell short of a medal in the final on 3rd April despite closing fast on the bronze medal position over the last 100m. Despite this it marked a very satisfactory end to her succesful indoor season in the masters category.
