Roseberry topping race

A few harriers and duaxc members took to the slopes of roseberry topping last Wednesday in the penultimate round of the fell summer series. It’s not a long race, only 1.5m, but is very sharp.

route choice can be crucial, deciding whether to take the infamous ‘chute’ on the way up or down may make or break your race either way!

peter bray was our leading runner in his Durham fell runners kit finishing 4th. Lucy butt had a great run for 2ndin the women’s race. Rob Eaton was first harrier home in 13th place.

The extensive prize list say the group returnwith about 10 bottles of wine !
