I have just discovered that the Seaton Burn junction will be closed for the full weekend of the first harrier league fixture, so no one will be able to get to East Cramlington via the Seaton Burn turn off!!!!!!!!
For those travelling form the south on the A1, I suggest they take the Gosforth Park exit towards the Marriott Hotel, then turn north and east along the A1056 (Sandy Lane) until they reach the A189 roundabout. Head north on the A189 until Moor Farm roundabout, and follow the instructions previously supplied.
For those travelling from the north on the A1, I suggest they leave the A1 just south of Morpeth and and turn left on to Stannington Station Road until they reach the A192. Turn right onto the A192 and continue south, following the signs for Tynemouth until they reach the A189 roundabout near the Three Horse Shoes roundabout. Turn right onto the A189 and follow the A189 south until the East Cramlington turn off is reached.
CAN EVERYONE PLEASE REMEMBER THAT CAR SHARING IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE WE HAVE SUFFICIENT PARKING FOR COMPETITORS. THERE WILL BE A SMALL FEE OF £1 FOR PARKING AT THE HOSPITAL WHICH IS BEING DONATED TO CHARITY.
