Jacqui Hodgson has added yet another Gold Medal to her already fine collection of Medals over the years on this occasion again it was in the Scottish Masters (Indoor) Championships at the Emirates Arena, Glasgow, in the (v/50) category over 400m recording a fine time of 68.04. Conrad Kennedy also did well winning a Bronze Medal in the (v/50) 60m recording 8.22, he also ran in the 200m heats recording 26.82.
In the Northern u/17, u/20 and Senior Indoor Championships at Sheffield, Travis Anderson ran in the (u/17) 400m heats and recorded 56.36 pb, Tia Anderson (u/20) ran 59.62 in her heat, Matthew Douthwaite (u/20) also ran 52.48 in his heat.
Meanwhile Charlotte Dillon (u/13) followed up her victory at Temple Park , South Shields , with another excellent run in Start Fitness NE Harrier League around the grounds of picturesque Alnwick Castle, again winning in fine style. William Jardine (u/13) also scored a fine victory too, and recorded the 2nd fastest time of the day under the handicap system, which is a feature for all the Harrier League races except for the (u/11) fun runs for both boys and girls whom are both off scratch. Incidentally, in the u/11 girls Fun Run race Grace Carter thought she had won and so did many others and was actually given the winners medal on crossing the line but it was later retracted, officials reversed the decision and gave her 2nd place recording the same time unfortunately there was no photo finish available!
