At the Start Fitness Annual Sherman Cup / Davison Shield XC held at Temple Park, South Shields, the in-form Charlotte Dillon produced an excellent win in the (u/13 Girls) Race finishing 28secs in front of the 2nd placed runner and helped the Team to finish a fine 3rd place. In the (u/15 Girls) Race, Jessica Peart and Sophie Hawkins enjoyed a close battle finishing 11th and 13th respectively to help their Team to finish 3rd also.

Durham City Harriers Men’s Team finished 4th overall in the Sherman Cup, and the Women were 10th in the Davison Shield.
In the Girls and Boys (u/11) Fun Run Races, Grace Carter had another fine run finishing 2nd in her Race recording 4.23, followed by Isabelle Maddison 23rd 5.09, Holly-Anne Sudder 31st 5.23, Tilly Hauxwell 39th 5.38. Jay Horner ran well too in the Boys Race finishing 11th recording 4.28, with Harrison Stokes 20th in 4.41
