The penultimate round of the NEHL brought about a few changes in the leaderboard of the resurgent club cross country. These were mainly in the open and veteran classes. In the absence of close rivals Tony McNeil leapt into the lead in the veteran men and looks set to complete a full set of results with Brian Brown and Rob Hand close behind. The open men remained unchanged with Rob Everson leading Dan Jenkin and Tony McNeil.

The veteran women saw Sarah Cook take top spot from Rachel Terry with Lynne Caruthers 3rd. Clare Higgins continues to lead the open women with 5 results ahead of Catherine Gough and Sarah Cook.

In the junior ranks Grace Carter continues to storm ahead in the u11 girls ahead of Eloisa Wilkes and Evie Peart. In the boys Will Jardine leads William Cook by a small margin with Harry Mason close in 3rd.

Sam Terry leads Jake Wilkes and William Henderson in the u13 boys whilst Charlotte Dillon, Freya Gibson and Megan Hauxwell are the top three in the u13 girls.

In u15 age group Joshua and Thomas Wraith lead the boys ahead of Ben Dowsett. Holly Cook is the only contender in the u15 girls.
