Durham fielded their youngest Senior Men's team ever in the North East Road Relay Championships, held at Hetton Lyons Country Park, which bodes well for the Club going forward. In fact, the A Team were never out the top 20 and finished an excellent 8th out of the 74 Teams that finished, a fine achievement.

At the other end of age category, the Veteran's A Team also ran exceptionally well finishing 29th overall and were 5th Veteran Team out of 15 that finished.

Full results of all the City Runners on their respective 2.22 mile legs with Team positions were as follows:

Senior Men's A Team: 17th Jonny Wilkinson (Snr) 11.49, 20th Cameron Allan (u/20) 20th 12.38, 13th Alex Cook (u/20) 11.55, 10th Ben Horsfield (u/17) 11.35, 9th Luke Pickering (u/20) 11.35, 8th Cameron Thomas (u/17) 12.19.(8th Team, overall time 71.51).

Senior Men's B Team (incomplete): 25th Will Lindsay 12.12, 35th Alfie Forbes 13.20, 47th Les Phillips (v/55) 15.28, 45th  Moses Hung 13.39, 51st Geoff Watson (v/40) 16.14.

Veterans A Team: Stephen Everett 12.29, 31st Ian Crampton 12.45, 31st Rob Hand 13.23, 31st Kevin Knight 14.00, 29th Simon Gardner 13.08, 29th Jason Catterall 13.43, ( 29th overall- 5th Vets Team) time 79.28.

Senior Women A : 61st Alice Hopper (u/20) 16.15, 65th Laura Hopper(u/17) 17.51, 61st Diane Wood (v/50) 17.07, 63rd Christine Woods (v/60) 17.41. (63rd Team, time 68.54).
