The National Autumn Road Relay Championships take place this weekend at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield. This event is the national 6 stage for mens and 4 stage for women including races for junior age groups . Three City Harrier teams across the ages will battle amongst the best in the country. At the Northern Road relay championships our highest placed team of Sam Gibson, Adam Ord and Izaak Taylor recorded an excellent 6th place overall. In the u17 competition Durham’s team finished a creditable 23rd with Cameron Thomas, Jacob Stephenson and Moses Hung making up the team. In the Senior mens race, teams must qualify in the top 25 at the respective Northern and Southern Championships to enter the National Relays. The DCH team initially finished a very strong 29th, just outside. However due to disqualification of higher teams Durham finished 25th and inside the qualification. Robin Linten, Rob Everson, Michael Grimes, Michael Wade, Joe Grehan Bradley and Jonny Wilkinson made up the team.
