Veteran runner Joasia Zakrzewski (o/40) had another excellent run this time in the Limassol Marathon in Cypress where she finished 11th overall, 4th Lady, and 1st VeteranĀ  recording a very good time of 2hrs 47mins 23secs which is the 15th time she has recorded a sub 2hrs 50mins clocking, a tremendous achievement.

Congratulations to Joasia who has also just been selected in the British Team for the IAU World Trail Championships in Badia Prataglia, Italy, in June.

Another Veteran runner Steve Everett finished 35th overall in the British Masters
XC at Wavertree, Liverpool, and was 5th (o/55) veteran recording a fine time of 28.57 in the 8k Race.

At the other end of the age scale Tia & younger brother Travis Anderson travelled to Sheffield to compete in the South Yorkshire Indoor Series and both setting personal
best times, Travis was 1st overall in the 600m (u/13 Boys Race) recording 1.43.20, whilst Tia was 2nd overall in the 300m ( u/15 Girls Race) recording 41.90. Tyler Thomas also competed in the 300m (u/15 Boys Race) finishing 2nd overall and he also recorded
a personal best time of 39.50.

Meanwhile, on the same day, Lauren Etchells and Lizzie Cramb travelled to Sportcity, Manchester, to compete in the Sale Harriers Open Indoor Series, Lauren recorded a personal best time of 44.21 in the 300m (u/15 Girls Race) , whilst Lizzie was 3rd fastest in the 600m (u/20 Women’s Race) recording 1.41.80, then in the 300m recorded 45.00.

In the Northern (u/15 Boys) 5k Road Race Championship at Blackpool, around the paths of Stanley Park,and which started and finished on the Stadium track, Cameron Thomas had a fine run finishing 14th out of the 52 finishers and recorded a personal best time of 17.33.
